Snippets of spontaneous philosophy...

A rather warm night in the south of Paris. A messy room - its neither its unusual state nor a permenant feature. A cd playing world music from the 2007-2008 season of The Théâtre de la ville of Paris. Very cosmopolitan-multicultural-melting pot. These seemingly unrelated details seem to make up the ingredients that bring out the question of the grand meaning of LIFE. Throw in some powerful writing that has been read recently and there is the full picture.

From this collage five words stand out, like raised letters on a flat metal plaque. " Nothing is permenant but change ". Its ironic that this philosophy comes from a religion. Where as religions claim their share of perinity, eternal truths and foundation on permenance that transcends time this idea seems to me to be one of the elixirs in life.

However this truth should also be analysed in a transcendental way too as it gives room for plurality of arguments and interpretation. In the most non non-confirmist way, this liberty of multiple interpretations could paradoxically accomodate the notion of eternity too.

A" Spending the rest of our lives together" has eternity - which for terestrial lives end with death as it has a bit of change too, "rest" implies its a new begining and there was something different before. . .
